Note also that certain games consume more battery power: any game with 3D graphics or other features that tax processor or use connective features (multiplayer) will run down your battery faster than simple, 2D games, for example. Likewise, you can bring down the brightness of your screen (press and hold the Home button for quick access) to make the system last. Bluetooth is needed to play with the Joy-Con detached, but you're fine without it in handheld mode. When you're playing on the go, you can disable some of these features (or just switch the system to Airplane Mode) to get the most life out of your battery. Your Switch uses Bluetooth, wireless, and other features unless manually turned off. If you're not in need for a full-on replacement, there are several ways that one can improve the longevity of their battery life when using the Nintendo Switch at home or out and about.
